7LDU offset with 1 x 4 x 3 fence piece

Don Rog ( 2012-06-27, flickr.com )
The 2 x 2 tiles are offset horizontally by about 7 LDU (7/20 of a brick width). The lattice part is actually 1/3 of a brick width, or 6.67 LDU. In practice (and in LDraw) the offset can be treated as 7 LDU.

3 LDU Bracket with 7 LDU offset

Don Rogerson ( 2012-06-27, flickr.com )
The 1 x 1 brackets are 3 LDU thick. The offset of the 1x4x3 fence piece is 7 LDU. The 1×1 brick (20 LDU) plus the 1×1 bracket (3 LDU) offset by the fence piece (7 LDU) is 20+3-7=16 LDU, or two plate thicknesses.
